Carpenter Bee Licious Bait
Jump-start your carpenter bee traps with our powerful bee attractant.
Why We Love It:
Despite the extensive and costly damage they can do to wooden structures, carpenter bees are actually quite lazy. They’d much rather move into an existing carpenter bee nest than go out and drill for a new one themselves. That’s where your carpenter bee trap comes into play. But there’s a way you can attract more bees even faster: just apply a dime-size squeeze of our BEE-Licious Bee Bait to the inside of your existing trap!
Our proprietary formula was specifically developed to mimic the pheromones of carpenter bees. That means more bees in your trap and fewer bees drilling holes in your home.
- Proprietary formula mimics the biosignature of carpenter bees
- Nontoxic pheromone attracts carpenter bees to your trap, not your home
- Enhances the effectiveness of our carpenter bee traps
- Concentrated formula – apply a dime-size amount to see results
- 10 ml squeeze tube for easy application
How to Apply
Applying your carpenter bee trap bait could not be easier. Apply a dime-size amount of BEE-Licious Bee Bait to your trap. On traps with plastic collection chambers, add the bait to the bait cup. On our Best Bee Trap, squeeze onto the small circle marked Bee Bait. No need to rub it in or get any goop on your hands (though if you do, no need to worry, just wash off the nontoxic gel with soap and water). For best results year after year, we recommend a fresh tube to bait your traps at the start of each season.
Getting the Most Out of Your BEE-Licious Bee Bait:
We’re really proud of all the science that’s gone into developing our proprietary BEE-Licious Bee Bait formula – and we’re even more proud of the results our customers have shared with us! But no amount of bee attractant will help if your trap isn’t in the right place.
To ensure you get the most out of this product, we recommend hanging your carpenter bee trap in a high location with lots of sunlight (eaves and roof overhangs are ideal). If your carpenter bee infestation requires more than one trap, we recommend about 15 ft. of distance between them.
Finally, to help direct carpenter bees to your trap, inspect your home for existing nests. Plug any existing carpenter bee holes you see before hanging traps or applying carpenter bee trap bait. Not sure what to plug a carpenter bee hole with? Try our Hand Dipped Wooden Corks!
