Why We Love It:

This twist on our classic pine wood turbo carpenter bee trap has a decorative pitched roof and is available in three colors - black, green and natural.

The four-chamber internal Turbo funnel utilizes the carpenter bees’ incredible sense of smell and hearing. The aeration holes intensely release the pheromones and sounds of the bees caught inside, luring more bees away from your home and wooden structures and into the trap.

If you're dealing with a stubborn infestation or don't have time to empty the trap as often, our four-chamber turbo trap with bee vault is the way to go.

How to Hang & Empty It:

Each Happy House Turbo Carpenter Bee Trap includes a 9 in. hanging chain, an accompanying S hook and a bracket with 2 screws for easy installation. Minimal assembly required means “installation” is just a two-step process: hang it up high and let the trap do the rest.

To empty your trap, pull the cord to release the bees or use a vacuum.

Using a vacuum provides a deep clean and reduces the chance of bees escaping. Simply pull the Bee Bait Cup and insert the vacuum hose - a household vacuum or shop vac works great. To move bees, capture and release them using the vacuum container. Simple, effective bee management!

Getting the Most Out of Your Trap:

  1. Timing is everything! Aim to get your traps up before Carpenter Bee Season begins in your area.
  2. Plan for perfect placement. Each trap covers a 15-foot radius. Traps are best placed in high areas such as the eaves of your roof. See Trap Placement below.
  3. Bait it! Adding Bee-Licious bait to your trap will attract more carpenter bees, and faster.
  4. Make room for more. Ensure you check your traps regularly to remove any bees as it gets full. No need to remove bees until the trap is getting full, though, as their presence in the trap can help attract more bees!
