Making use of your Glass Wasp Trap couldn’t be easier. To get started, just follow these four simple steps:
- Identify an area where you’ve seen recent wasp activity, or where you expect wasps to try to nest near your home. (Hint: we recommend eaves and overhangs from your roof or on an outdoor patio.)
- Place a small amount of your desired sugary substance in the trap (a simple syrup solution will work just fine, or use the recipe included with the trap) to bait it.
- Hang the trap up high.
- Kick back and let it go to work for you!
Tips for Best Use:
To get the most out of your Glass Wasp Trap, don’t forget to add a small amount of your desired sugary substance to the bottom of the trap. Some options include: mix sugar and water, fruit juice or cola. Wasps love sugar and will be lured into the trap by the sweet smell. Don’t fill the trap more than halfway. Empty the trap when it is full and replace the liquid bait.
